Fall Trends I’m Loving

It’s almost fall and I am more than excited. As much as I love summer, no season surpasses fall in New England.

Although fall doesn’t start until the end of the month, I have already been indulging myself with pumpkin spice lattes, lighting fall candles, and decorating my room with mini pumpkins. It is clearly safe to say that I love fall…

One of my favorite aspects about the season is the fashion. Fall is the only season in New England where you can get away with layering without sweltering or hiding your entire outfit under a parka. This being said, its important to make the MOST out of your outfits this season!

Here are some of my favorite trends for Fall 2020:

Cardigans

Cardigans are making their comeback! Unfortunately, for me, I gave all mine away a few years back, thinking they would not be coming back in style…. I definitely have regrets.

Monochrome Outfits

You can never go wrong with a monochrome outfit. Putting together an outfit like this is typically very easy for me since my whole closet is a combination of black, white, and tan. Although I tend to stray away from brighter colors, they are forecasted to be in for this fall. Maybe it’s time I expand my color palette…

Faux Leather Everything

Faux leather is definitely the trend I am most excited for this year. Styling with leather pants or a jacket truly elevates every outfit. My favorite way to wear leather is by pairing one of my jackets with a chic dress. This simple addition creates a more “street style” aesthetic.

Trousers

Tired of wearing jeans? It’s time to buy some trousers. This style of pants adds a more sophisticated and classy look to any outfit. Also, they are easy to dress down with a simple band tee and leather jacket.

Oversized Blazers

Blazers are back… and bigger. I am definitely here for this trend not only for the chic and edgy aesthetic, but mostly because it is significantly more comfortable than an ordinary blazer.
